its bleepin cold out, only 7 weeks till its March
seriously can't believe i'm contemplating staying here for my masters degree. why can't such an awesome program be in like freakin San Francisco or some place that's not the arctic wastes?

scarf: hIVER [doctor who ftw. yes i knitted all like 25ft of that thing. its wool and mohair, i've gone out last winter in like a spring jacket in 20 degree temps wearing that thing and stayed warm]

had to wear some sparkley for new years eve.
i'm thinking of a Shalom Harlow perm for 2010. because curling all of that took WAY too long, even for my neurotic tendencies

so to replace the bookcase that died the previous week, I got three mid century modern dressers, using two as bookcases/shelves, and one as an actual dresser in my bedroom [aka the mysterious door i'm always next to] oh and i got the whole deal for $100. also i'm a dork and i know it.

sorta out of it after coming back from my first blackhawks game at the united center. gonna have to say i like goin to cubs games at Wrigley field better. maybe that's because its generally NOT FREEZING out during that sports season, or that i have a serious fear of heights [we were in the nosebleeds. not a venue to see a concert at]
